sorry if i'm late but did magnaflow make a catback already? is that a real authentic magnaflow catback or is it custom?

 

that is either a scam or someone has designed there own and is trying to sell it with Magnaflow's name on it to make a quick buck! There system isnt out yet, so there is no way someone could be selling one..

 

couldnt thye just put a magnaflow muffler on to a custom catback?

 

i emailed a guy who was selling a magnaflow catback, and it seems to be authentic, proof from the magnaflow catalog?

he said..:
Yes, this is made specifically for the Lanzer OZ model. This is a complete maganflow catback system. Although they do not yet have it listed on their website it is in their 2003 catalog (Page 64, System Section, PN.15805, 2.0L 02-03 Lancer OZ). All stainless stell !! Call them at 800-990-0905 to verify.

 

no harm in calling... i don't find it impossible that they have one

 

Magnaflow just released their catback for the Lancer. I'll check an old catalog and see if I can dig up a pic. But rest assured that they do, in fact, have a catback.

I never did find that Magnaflow catalog, but it's been out for a few months now. Didn't someone on here (wanna say Kara?) go do the test fitting for it?

 

Hey guys, I just recently went to Pronto Mufflers where I'm from (Texas) and the guy gave me a magnaflow catalog, they do indeed MAKE a catback for the Lancer they classify it for the OZ which I'm sure will work just fine with the ES or LS. Now the person on ebay maybe scamming but Magnaflow truely does make a full cat-back for our cars. Later!

no the guy on ebay isn't scamming, i emailed him and he said that a lot of people were emailed him asking if it was an authentic magnaflow catback and he said it was, he copied the article from the catalog and everything. and yes, magnaflow now does offer a catback for lancer.
