05 Evo 8's has the 10.5 hotside. 03-04 w/ the 9.8. 05's has the rev limiter but not 03-04's. You can of course add it when you get tuned/flash.

06 Evo 9's has a 10.5 hotside and a bigger coldside compared to 03-05 Evo 8 turbos. Evo 9's also has mivec.

go for evo......dude.......since the mods..for the evos...are way cheaper...than to mod the STI.....you whould spend three times the money...to mods the STI ...just to get the same power compare to evos..
