Ok then its time for Cam questions and suggestions
well once again i know that life is alot different with the Evo then my Talon.
So I have been told that with a GOOD set of cams and a tune and an exhuast and a boost controller. That most Evo's can make upwards of 330hp.
Anyways i am going to go hunting some cams for the Evo, in my Talon i have HKS with 264/272's in there.
So what works well with the Evo's...what kinda price are we talking about for them and brand and all that good stuff
thanks in advance

Cams - Gsc S1's and hks 272s are going to be a great all around cam. Improvements midrange and top end.
Hks 280s and GSC S2's are going to be more of a top end cam, loads of power up top.
Its really your choice from there... If you're planning on doing a lot of racing and you find yourself from 5-7k more often than not then the larger cams might be for you. If you just see yourself fooling around on the street a lot 3-6k then you should consider the small cam for better response over stock.
Exhaust - any 3" will work, the less restriction the more power... You can get an ebay or megan and save lot verus getting say a greddy and have the same performance.
-MBC.... The best one currently made are the Hallman Pro... Not the pro RX ( too touchy) It holds boost solid and doesn't need to be adjusted if the temperature changes less than 30 degrees unlike some of the other popular ones.
- Tune is what makes or breaks a car and you already have a great guy posting here =-) I only charge $150 for a full custom tune with as many corrections as needed to get the car running at 110% safely.
If you have any questions post up or shoot me a PM!
Cheers!

Personally I wouldn't even worry with the 272's.
I run the GSC S2's on a stock 03 turbo.
The torque and hp curve pretty much follow the stock cam curve but where the stock cams peak and fall off the S2's go up and hold to redline. By redline I have ~60hp gain over the stock cams.
If you have anymore questions you can contact me here or on AIM. (mellontuning)

Mine is a daily driver and I have 264I and 272E and a Mellon tune. It is great! Still have good low end grunt (for an Evo) and great high end horsepower. I have heard that the 272's are not a bad compromise for street driving also. Are you looking to upgrade valve springs and retainers also or just put in a set of cams? This will make a difference on your cam selection also.

the HKS 280's are a good choice if you want bigger power and don't want to fool with springs and retainers.
I've used them on my daily driver with the 16g, 20g and now 35R turbo. I'll be going to something bigger soon though.
