There is a TSB (technical service bulletin) on this so you might be able to have it replaced at the dealership. That is the first place I would try since it feasibly might be the cheapest. If that doesn't work ask them what it would take to have it repaired and then order your parts from mitsubishiparts.net. You can find the TSB at Alldata.com as well.

jus got back from the dealership.... OH MYY LOORRDDD... i asked them if i could get the thing replaced seein as it was a service bulletin and they said... "well how many miles do you have on it? oh no... i dont think we ll be able to cover it UNLESS you have the extended warranty coverage... yea... sorry but i can get you a price quote for everything, hmm lets see you ll need the air cabin filter, new gears, new assembly, replace the freon, etc... yea ok so your total will come out to 1 250 included is the labor." WTF!!! how do i find out if i do have the extended warranty? FYI i bought the car from a Honda dealership

Alright, so for whatever reason I cant find this in Mitsubishi's datebase although I know for a fact this is a legit TSB. Another reason why I love the EVOM...I found the part numbers here.

The suppose the filter is up to you (MN185231)

Since you got that orbital kit -- do you need some new A/C labels?

Buy from RussellM...he's the best resource to get stock parts/accessories. Great prices too. He's a very knowledgable guy when it comes to Evos.

That is the same number I had for it. I searched with the number and couldnt find it. I will be in the office tomorrow and hopefully getting caught up from this holiday season. I will try to hunt some more. I even searched with the TSB # and had no luck. The numbers go up to 03-xx-xxx and no further.

I may call them and get them to email me the pdf for it.

FOUND IT! Yesterday was a very long stressful day here so perhaps my mind was running to fast to really think.

The only problem is that I cant get into this database from my office computer, which is the only computer in the whole building w/ photoshop or even a USB drive that works. So pretty much, I cant save this .pdf and upload it for you guys.

So I am going to dive into my computer, use this old school scanner I have and see what I can work up for you all.

...back shortly.
