Question What gauges read the most accurate?

i am thinking of getting Defi gauges, and i want to have all the same brand and same style but volt, EGT, and Boost. Defi has all those but how accurate are they, and is there any that are better, for the three and all the same style

Depending on what gauges your looking at, different brands are better. They can also be hit or miss.

But for EGT and Boost, the Defi BF gauges work great.

Id go with AEM. And as far as the gauges you should get, I would go with Boost, AEM UEGO Wideband, and Oil Pressure.

I talked to Buschur about EGT (I had one) and they said they are worthless unless you buy one thats about $1500! They said by the time the otherones see the change in temp, you already lost your piston anyways.

defi work well, aem are nice, any high-end japanese gauges will work well. stear clear of anything you find on ebay, and remember, you always get what you pay for, so don't try to ball on a budget.

the more gauges the better, to a point, bt also consider that just about any good eletronnic boost controler is also a boost gauge.

I like autometer not expensive and there pretty accurate, but there not the best looking.I use the boost from them and it's spot on,now for getting the three gauges you taking about are good, but the main important ones are boost, and air fuel ratio.Stick to autometer for boost and volts, but spend the money for the aem air fuel very important.

Landis507 the defi gauges look nice and they have a playback feature and light up to match the factory gauges. The defi boost is of about 1to almost 2psi off,if you have the money to spend go with aem's boost ,wideband, and volts you also get alot more with aem boost it's a boost controller and reads boost.I really like this set up next time around i would pick my self up one too,i prefer to adjust the boost form inside the car as boost changes daily from weather so insted of getting out opening the hood closing get back in then it's not right ,then again stop the car get out and adjust meanwhile just press a button and go.You can also set the boost for street or race with different function good choice for gauge setup.
