evo x vs evo 9 comparison

Today i went for a ride in a evo x with hks muffler, test pipe, downpipe ,and intake, and it didn't impress me at all feel's to refined for a evo supposed to be.The evo 9 mr in stock form felt much faster and very aburupt and you feel the turbo kicken in stronger,to me the evo 9 in my book is more of a everyday race rar while the evo x is just a sport's car,and for road racing peroid..

from what i hear, they changed the gear ratio, maybe not exactly in numbers but i believe that the X has a better top speed, and starting in higher gear on the freeway, will prolly be faster than a 9 in the long run, and thats prolly why they say it has better mpg, cause my bros mustang get 19 highway/freeway, and he is only at 2500 rpms wen were at 3000 or 3500 in 5th gear around 80 mph, and my bro has gone 150 in 4th wth rpms to spare( i wouldnt dout if you gave his car a little more space with no cops he could hit 190+) and we shift into 5th at around 125. after i get all my mods done i mite change my diffs just a little to get faster. but idk, wen am i ever going to go 150+ or 160+ on the freeway you no so i guess hitting 150 isnt going to be a problem with 350 whp, do you think so, lol

well of course because the new x's are made to be more comfortable and easy for daily driving. The older evos are true race cars with few compensations for daily driving.

But really it depends on what you look for in a car. If you plan to do lots of daily driving and want to be comfortable and have nice features but still want that nice boost I would get an x, If you want a full out race car and could careless about a harsh suspension, ****ty stereo and interior get a 9.

Really I think the 9 has a SLIGHT advantage in performance but with few mods the x will be more fun around the track

You need to go back to school to learn proper English.

harsh suspension doesnt bother me none, lol. i also have a lifted ranger with SH!TTY suspension, like major body roll and my friends little civic, and my bros mustang, after i ride in those i cant wait to get in my NICE handling rice burner and feel the road agian, with alot of HP for a rice burner, lol.

Huh? Lay off, most of us undertsood the post.
Im still waiting to test drive a X with an open mind. It seems that the potential for the track is greater then the ct9a chassis.

i actually love the evo suspension but some people dont. These people would be more happy with an x. I really dont even think an evo suspension is that harsh. If you have ever been in a lowrider then talk about a back breaking suspension.
