well my car went into the shop today, i had a free oil change and inspection. sadly i found out some problems. i need to replace the left front outer tie rod. i need a wheel alignment, and i also need to replace both rear upper control arms. i have a 2004 ralliart, im not letting them do work on my car, i just got the door fixed on my explorer today and it was almost $900 and $420 of that was just for the labor so im going to fix my car myself. if anyone knows where i can get these parts or if anyone is selling spares let me know please!!!!

The dealer probably just wants to let you know of problems so they can make more money of you. Do you agree with the problems that they notified you of? Do you feel anything abnormal when you drive the car? If so, then the dealer is honest and right. If you don't feel anything is wrong with your car, then I would let it go. A lot of times we take the words of other people because they say something is a problem. You can have your car re-evaluated by someone else just to make sure...or you can not worry about it if you feel your car is running good. Good luck!

 

the only thing i see is that my left rear tire is starting to wear down on the inside. other than that i feel that the car drives fine, that is all im looking to fix. i know they are trying to get me to spend more. the only thing im worried about is the tire, i don't want it to go bald. thanks for the help
