I'm currently in iraq(5 more months to go from 15 month tour)
Saved up much as possible for my evo.
But with this economy, my friends think i should just keep my money for now.
I was planning to use about $2k to get better piping(have injen) and jdm bumper with voltex diffuser.
I'm going back to states in feb and going oversea to korea in aug.
So my evo will be in storage again.
Plan to stay in korea for rest of my Army year(2 years) and plan to get job in korea.
should i mod my car or leave it alone?
will i able to get parts for my evo in 4-5 years later?
my goal is to get 11 sec and get voltex wide body.
Also plan to replace my parts with ams or buschur

currently have
ebay tbe and injen pipes with no tune.

Economy really that bad? I dont watch news and havent seen anything on stars&stripe about economy.

 

Economy is horrible right now. We just borrowed 700 billion dollars. Things are going down hill nowadays. Politicians really annoy me!

Yes its bad when banks go out of bussness something is worng. But u said u will go to korea and try and get a job there. So u are not coming back to USA ur trying to stay in korea after the Army. if so there is no reason to mod the evo just save and keep saving so when u do come back u can do a sick build.

I'm planning to get DOD job when i ETS in korea(i'm korean)
If i cant find job, I'm coming back to army.
if I do get in job in korea, I plan to ship my evo to korea.

I guess I'll spend little as possible(jdm rear, buschur or ams pipes)
when i get back.
I gave up all the fast food, games, magazines for my evo.
