Well hey guys.
Name is dothackRAVE, and I am currently a college student residing around Purdue University. I'm 20.
I am a huge fan of sanctioned motorsports, and I go to autocross and track days (and sometimes rallycross!) pretty often when its in season (that's whenever the cold will go away!). I've been doing this for about a year now.
I currently drive a 2005 Mazda RX-8. It's a very fun car (it's also my first car), and has plenty of power for a learner. However, I feel that it's time to step up to a "real car". 300HP. AWD. Mad cornering speeds.
Currently, I don't have an Evolution yet, but I am seriously considering buying one. I am looking at a few cars; a brand new white Evolution-X GSR (not a fan of the SST on the MR even though its got better suspension and such...), a used Evolution-IX (no SAYC..., and I really want that. Friend's Evo-VII RS2 made me go gaga over it...), a brand new Ralliart Lancer (pretty much, IMO, an detuned IX in a new bodykit).
It's a game of balance for me. The Evolution-IX seems to be more hardcore and race oriented than the X. But at the same time, I'm a *****, and I like civilized cars. Whichever car I buy though, will be pushed pretty hard on the track, but well taken care of as a daily driver.
So this is why I'm here. I'm here to look for information.
So yea, feel free to rip on me for trying to buy any one of those cars.
