From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
Building on of Mitsubishi's website comes out to $23,825 before tax and title. With the 7.25% tax, comes out to around $25,550. So, more or less, you are around invoice/sticker.
You must separate yourself in terms of want and good price. Call around, see if there are better deals, South Coast Mitsubishi http://www.southcoastmitsubishi.com/ has been known for some good prices.
There is also a recent grad, loyalty, and armed services deductions ($500 per).
Good luck.

Dude, be really careful with that! Just advice, because I don't know what exactly you are looking for in terms of performance, but get your paperwork ready because you'll need it.
First off I would say that if your price range after TTL for a lancer w/nav and other goodies is around 25000 to 26000 I would really consider maybe just going for the ralliart which could be another 5000 altogether but is turbocharged and has a nicer suspension etc. Like i said, really depends on what you are looking for... Esp if this is your daily driver...
ANYWHO! I would get invoice prices from KBB.com, Edmunds.com and Yahoo Autos. When I bought mine i was told my edmunds invoice was exactly right.
But based on the price he is giving you, while it doesn't seem to bad, I would hardball for an extra 1000 dollars off of it by getting an e-price from other local dealers. Most dealers if they see they are going to lose your business over a grand will go ahead and make the deal, especially if you threaten to leave. I say work it down a bit more and that would make it a nice deal.
