30 day warranty? seriously what dealer is this? I have a very good relationship with my dealer (employee pricing for parts/labor), but I'm out of warranty after I back out the service door.

 

well, warranty for whatever i got done on the car .... i dunno thats what they told me

 

I have a rattle on my evo 4 gsr aswell, it sounds like it around the manifold area. Ive had somebody look at it and they said it could be the piston rings in cylinder number 4 but i dont know if hes right coz alot of people say different things.

 

I still have a rattle on my 4 gsr, sounded like it was around the manifold/turbine housing. I removed it all and replaced the full lot with another evo 5 turbo. Started the car up and it was quiet until it got warm, then the rattle came back. Could somebody please help before i rip the full engine out.

 

My VIII rattled, too. It was the heatshield also.

 

Sounds to me like the dealer left the shield loose...Also, i would hope that the warranty would be more than 30 days...most manufacturers warranty parts and labor for 12 months 12,000 miles. Mitsu may be different but I hope not.
