SE. Don't know if what they say about the 6 speed tranny is true, but my mind is more at rest owning the 5 speed.

After having owned a black SE and now having a white MR, I'll take the MR any day over the SE. I doubt your friend will push more then 400 torque, and the MR tranny will hold that plenty well, all while allowing for more fun driving the car clicking through gears, and looking A LOT better since the black only stays black for a few minutes. I know what I'm saying as I've had TWO black evos
