evo 9 SE vs evo 9 MR
Hey guys my buddy wants to join the evosis family hes looking at used. Im leaning more towards the blk evo 9 SE.

Honestly, I would test drive both so that you may get a feel of both transmissions since one's a 5 speed and the other's a 6 speed. If you're going to put a lot of mods on your Evo, go with the 5 speed. If you're going to put only the basic mods on and do a lot of daily driving, go with the MR. If it was me, I would go with the black 5 speed GSR SE.

Ha I was actually going to buy that same SE, I live up in wisconsin, I tried to get the dealer down to 22 but he wont budge. good luck trying to deal with them, they seem like *******s.
he said he wouldnt even drop his price 300 bucks.
it is a nice car, it has some dings in the body though.

SE there was rumors going around that the SE models were actually similar to the 07 aussie models with some minor tweaking.
I can't recall if it was a tuner or shop owner who said SE's were consistently pulling higher numbers (surely nothing crazy)
Im not sayin this is fact nor fiction just some interesting things I have heard on EvoM in the recent years.
