i had aftermarket lines swapped out into my evo, which i had project mu pads and later on also hawks, with using stock blank rotors and later brembo slotted rotors, had no issue with the abs light or system on the track nor street driving.........

one bit advise on brakelines, just make sure you get the full DOT approved lines, there are a lot of lines out there that claim dot ok.....but they are actually not and do not meet ALL their qualificatins........when you see off road use only disclaimers, stay away.......

you shouldn't have any issues with the abs. in fact it should work better.you should get a much firmer brake pedal feel and run it with the motul 600 fluid. cause it has a much higher boiling point. i've had mine for 2 yrs now and the fluid is clean as the day it was installed.

I read a thread about the G stop (goodrich) lines were defective and a horrible idea to put on Evos, but i went ahead and got them anyways.
Installed and really increase pedal feel. Stay away from DOT 5.1 or race fluid if your calipers are still nice looking (it peels paint)

how would using DOT 5.1 or race fluid peel your calipers paint? unless u spill some on it.

any brake fluid will mess up your caliper paint. Stainless lines help though...
