hey guys whats going on i found a evo after looking forever so hopefully i end up getting it... but i was wondering if there is any evo meets on long island...and also any advice or things i should now about the car... i think i know a decent amount about them but feel free to give me any advice

 

Things you should know: The dealership will try and rip you off any chance they get.
Advice: Drive nice on the street and savage on the track.

 

You'll have more luck looking for custom car, or import meets, then you will just evo meets

 

evos are fast!!!! lol stock clutch is weak and goes out fast

you could check the regional section for the ny meets. i've never been to any, but its also too cold right now to be hanging around outside.

 

I see you've got a vw jetta 2.0. I had one before I got my evo. Big difference obviously. As for getting advice or what not, all you gotta do is ask, OR use the search button. And as for meets, it was said above, but there are definately going to be less right now being that its so cold. Anyways, welcome and good luck

 

thanks guys...btw im going on sunday to look at the car it is 05 wicked white, 48k on it, stock spoiler is off and it has rexspeed type c spoiler, injen uicp, couldnt tell what intake from pic, also has cf VG, and i will see what else once i go.... ive been waiting sooo long to get one, but with my luck there will be something wrong with it or it will get sold before i can get down there lol
