About 3 weeks ago my black 02 mutang GT was totalled when a yellow NYC cabby blew a stop sign and hit my rear wheel/ quarter panel... So after 1 week of looking around i went for the evo... Had an option of BMW 335i, sti, 370Z.... No more muscle cars for now.... So far im loving the evo... It handles like no other car i drove including the M3 and 540's.... Only thing i screwed up on was getting the MR vs the GSR.. the only reason i did not was cause of all the options the MR had and i did not want to wait until the dealer found a GSR with all i wanted... I like the SST but i cant wait for Perf shops to get parts to make it hold power... cant wait to do some modding... well just saying hi to the forum...

Yeah i hear you i got a 99 gt convertible n nothing like a evo totally two diff machines. I am sure it will keep you happy for a long time. Have u noticed a fuel consumtion differance between the 2 cars?

 

As i have only drove the evo from La to the montana border n once gov changed the law i imported it into Canada.

dont get me wrong i loved the mustang.. it was my babby with a LOT of money invested in it... BUT its two different worlds... THe mustang is the sound and the torgue coming from the V8 that made it fun... The evo has superb handeling, comfort, and that turbo gets it up there... I really dont know how to compare the two cars... Im loving the evo and if it comes to daily driving and still haveing fun the evo hands down wins by far... the mustang was good for a weekend cruise and the track... we are comparing a rally car and a drag car... just two different worlds... just curious was anyone else considering the 335i and decided on the evo... my reason was i believe i can have more fun with the evo... secondly more widely after markey parts available for WAY cheaper... and lastly im only 26.. I'll get a BMW when i get into my 30's...
