how to tell if i have a walbro?

My buddies about to get his car tuned next Tuesday and we are wondering if it has a walbro or now, he bought the car used with some mods but never tuned, i heard you can hear it whining in the back, well we can hear a lil whining but not sure if it is one or not or if the stock wines at all? any help would be appreciated thanks

Kyle

Pop it out and take a look; its right under the backseat. Even if you've never done an Evo pump before I'd expect you to be able to get it out and back in in under 30 minutes.

The stock pumps are completely silent... Ive never heard a stocker make a sound.. If theres any whine at all you can pretty much guess theres a walbro in it.

Cheers!

yank it out, if the pump is silver is probably a walbro if its green its a stocker.
