why did this start all of a suden.

i'm not kidding its wines super loud. at idle my exhaust is normally really relly loud and you can hear the walbro whine more than you can hear the exhaust

Mine started making noise two weeks after I had it installed. Now it whines once in a while. The noise sucks but it's normal for the walbro.

i had the car for 3 months and i never heard the duel pump and i'm sure the previous owner never had this problem either.
i just want to know why did this start all of a suden.
i heard walbros in lots of hondas befor and you can barely hear it.
also i cant emphasize enough that this really does not sound normal. the wine from the fuel pump is very loud and is louder that my EXHAUST at idel. and with 272 cams my exhaust is very loud at idel

That is a typical issue with the Walbro pumps, usually it means nothing, it is just a typical sound. Rarely it will mean that the pump is on it's way to failing. The only option you have if you want to keep it in there is to install a foam sleeve and keep the fuel level high to attempt to deaden the sound.

I have the same problem to man. It is a very loud whine. On some days it is louder than others, more so with these 0 degree temps....

Yep, I put mine in about 3 months ago, didn't know what everyone was talking about till the second week. Now, I just here it when I come to a stop, just another funny noise my car makes (ticking, sucking, rattling, popping, whining).

No more whoooose, put the stock bov back in.

you walbro is fine, it will naturally do that, if you do not wanna here the whine, put some of that speak mat down I cant remember what it is called maybe dyna matt but anyways do this so that it will absorb the whine sound.

How do you know when a fuel pump is on its way out? I have had my walbro 255 since the 8 came out in 03. The wine for mine has gone away for about a year. A fuel pump failure would be really bad how can we avoid this? Some questions im sure many have.

A wideband is used for tuning of fuel. It will let you know you are runing lean when your pump goes but its to late by then in a wot situation.
