Hey,
I' m wondering what you guys think the best time i can run with out a turbo. Like what should i get pistons,headers ect..... Also if i got new pistons could i run like a 35 shot of NOS safely?
Let me know I need to beef up my lancer.

for the anount of $$$ and time it would take, you would be much better off buying a turbo kit!!!

 

just replace everything with forged components (high compression pistons)....port/polish your head...redo your entire valvetrain...dual or quad throttle bodies....fuel management....everything basically

get TC to run 15's. That's bad.

Basically, you want to run alongside GSR's. Make HP close to their flywheel power.

 

I'd say its possible the stock ralliart lancer is estimated to run 15.8. I'd say our engines can produce close to the 160 that the MIVEC makes with all the parts (ECU, Header, Test pipe, intake etc...) out there. Traction and driving skill would be the key factor. Although I have yet to see anyone come close.

hell yea it'll be a lot easier than you think, i'm already in the 16's all i have is an intake just think if you have throttle body intake manifold cam header flex pipe test pipe full exhaust and ecu you will be ****ing hauling *** mybe even 14.9
