omg this thread got hijacked w/ the Old Evo vs New Evo argument, and on top of that you got subby people here flaming evo owners and vise versa...if this was in general it wouldve made 10 pages already and somebody wouldve popped a vein in their head getting angry hahaha

what's up with that bradze dude? am i reading right that he does in fact own an evo? personally, i'm a proud owner of an evo and so glad they came stateside - wish i had a VI but hey, am privileged to own one!
with that said, if it wasn't evos coming over here, I'd be rolling in an sti or wrx. nice looking scubie op!

The guy's a *****, imo. He came on here a while ago and did nothin but bashed the Evos but said he needed one for his back. Why you'd spent 30K for a new Evo if you hate it is beyond me. Perhaps he should stick with a Vespa or something. More to a car than auto cross. Yeah cars with low end torque do better at those. I remember stories of stock cavilers/sunfires beating BMWs since they have a ton of low end torque but no ***** (used to own one...)

i've never been a big fan of mitsubishi. had a subaru and loved it. would've gotten a new sti if i could've gotten a transmission like the MR. im having back problems and shifting is getting harder for me. but the 8's and 9's can make so much horsepower but not much torque, they have weak drivetrains, ****ty interior's, perhaps there a little faster from the factory than a subie, but not if its modded... look at SCCA auto-xing results, STis dominate, yes evos are fast too but not very many of them
p.s when can our cars go on dates!
