i wish i could. they're having really good deals on the evo X's right now.. but i'm not so sure if i could see myself driving one.

keep the wrx, since your into auto-x, the only evo that would be worth your time is the evo x. the 8 and 9s get a big thumbs down in my opinion. just my 2 cents....

Well he has a Evo X MR model so he's obviously an Evo X elitist.

Evo VIII and IX are great vehicles

 

Yea I still live in Brooklyn. I dont know why that guy is hating on IXs and VIIIs, I have a X and I love all the Evos. If you upgrade to either one from your WRX I'm sure you will never ook back

 

he is angry because everytime he sees a evo 8 or 9 on the road he gets his A$$ handed to him for messing with something he should not. the Evo X is a ok car its only ok because its new but a true evo with the rawness is going to be your 8 or 9. But do what you do player just dont hate because your slower stock for stock. BTW to the op welcome and if you like your scubby then keep rocking that. In the end its just a car to get you from point A to B. its all in how fast and how much style after that point. nice pictures

 

yeah i understand what youre saying with the "rawness" factor- they did the same thing with the 08/09 sti's. they're very soft and toned down compared to the previous years.

 

i've never been a big fan of mitsubishi. had a subaru and loved it. would've gotten a new sti if i could've gotten a transmission like the MR. im having back problems and shifting is getting harder for me. but the 8's and 9's can make so much horsepower but not much torque, they have weak drivetrains, ****ty interior's, perhaps there a little faster from the factory than a subie, but not if its modded... look at SCCA auto-xing results, STis dominate, yes evos are fast too but not very many of them
