Talk me into trading my S2k for an EVO
Hey,
I had an 03 S2000, eventually sold it due to space and purchased a 03EVO. Years later i have the chance to buy another car, and yet, most people on here tells you to "own the best of both worlds". Guess what? I bought another EVO, its a 2006 RS. That is the best of both worlds right there. haha, just my .02c.

I went from a 2006 s2006 to a 2006 Evo IX for space reasons too. The s2000 handled awesome but the Evo had practicality plus great acceleration. To me, the s2000 is better as a second car. Oh, and the Evo won me over so much that I made the leap to the X too! Good luck!

Not necessarily. Maybe you're right about AMS, but that doesn't discount other tuners' findings, when comparing their own Evo and STI products.
From Vishnu Tuning:
Stage Sub-Zero (reprogrammed ECU)
Evo IX - claims ~380 hp, costs $499
STI - claims ~340 hp, costs $749
Stage One (reprogrammed ECU, downpipe, exhaust)
Evo IX - claims ~400 hp, costs $1750
STI - claims ~370 hp, costs $1915
I would find more, but I just wanted to point out the examples that were in my head. Obviously Vishnu's products aren't the end-all determination of which car is more responsive, but this is just what I was basing my opinion off of, but I'm sure you also have examples. But again, there's not really a huge debate.

Man i had a VIII Now i have a S2k CR. I want a evo 9 now the CR is fun but not a good moding car its staying stock and the CR has no room in it. Besides that i love it. I want to keep it and later down the road get a evo as a DD
The CR is a S2000 that is on topic if u were talking to me not sure. I had a Evo VIII and was saying that i think both the evo and the S2000 are great cars but both are different animals. Not sure if u were talking to me about staying on topic if so i was the CR is a specail model S2000 i thought every one new that though
