I just picked up an 03 Evo 2 days ago and ive seen my oil pressure go up considerably within the past few days it went from idle on startup at 20 psi and now its at 80 psi is this normal or do i have a serious problem?

 

When it was at 20 psi the car was more than likely warm and that's normal. The 80 psi on a cold engine is also normal.

 

okay but as soon as i tap the gas it shoots up to 100
