EVO IX for first car.
Also possible he'll change his mind 10 times in in the year or more before he can actually drive it legally.
lol... honestly dude. i'm not telling you not to get an evo. jesus christ... i'm saying that get one when you are ready. if that means you are ready at 16, 17, 18, 30, whenever, it doesn't matter. Your age is irrelevant. Your assumed maturity level and your level of experience behind the wheel of the car is what people have a problem with. Never having owned a car and being only 14 can only lead us to assume that even if you have driven a car, you probably don't drive well, regardless of the type of cars you have driven. and i'll be the first to tell you that when I was your age I was dumb as all hell and would do all kinds of stupid things. THANK GOD i didnt have my evo then or i'd probably be dead right now. I'm 24 now. I've had my evo for a year, and I felt completely confident going in and getting one. When you can do the same, do it
get yourself a beater car as your first, drive it, learn to trun/accelerate/brake properly then step up.
and stop claiming you know everything, your 14 dude, just be humble and not a little *****.
if you follow those and come here strictly to learn and not be a douche, you will be fine.
start out with a ****ty honda, honestly. then go to something that has a little more power, like a old 5.0 mustang or a 93-97 LT1 camaro, then after that, you would most deff be ready for a evo if you can confidently drive those cars. that way you will get the feel for FWD RWD then will move to AWD.

ha thats awesome. and no if your dad is smart he wouldnt let you near the thing! dude just find a regular car. if you are scared to **** to drive a chevelle its because you know you can't handle it. same concept goes with an evo, or an sti, or a WRX, or a ralliart. find something non turbo to begin with. civic si sounds perfect. decent power and you aren't gonna be able to do anything THAT stupid in it.

just start out with a honda car. i went through all the platforms before the evo.
first car was a 91 Z28 (rwd) Next car was a SRT-4 (Fwd) and now the evo.
i got a feel for the RWD and FWD so jumping into the evo i would have better control and have a sense of handling if say i have torque steer in the evo or the *** end slides out, i know how to correct it.
catch my drift??
