EVO IX for first car.
NO!!!!
just start out with a honda car. i went through all the platforms before the evo.
first car was a 91 Z28 (rwd) Next car was a SRT-4 (Fwd) and now the evo.
i got a feel for the RWD and FWD so jumping into the evo i would have better control and have a sense of handling if say i have torque steer in the evo or the *** end slides out, i know how to correct it.
catch my drift??

no promises. but for all the reasons that they recommend getting a big slow safe car, is the same reason all of us recommend that you NOT get an evo (evo = complete opposite of all that) for your first car. get our mindset? msn does it nicely, we're a bunch of *******s, you'll get used to it

awd eclipse = GSX eclipse. I was lookin at one before I got my evo. They are bad ***. A lot of people on here are previous owners. google it. dont bother searching for anything after 99 though, thats when mitsubishi pissed the eclipse down the toilet
and then after i learn on that, ill be ready for the evo??
Haha, or you could just stop going on the site. Don't even think about an Evo foryiur first car at 16, ppl do so much irresponsible **** when they are young. I almost crashed me and 3 of my friends into a wall going 110 after I hit a water spot where spri klers were on as there was the tinyest of bends in the road, ****ed the **** out of the cars allignment, smoke EVERYWHERE. I have noone to thank today but god that we are all alive. I was driving my 1989 prelude. If I had been in an Evo I probably Wouk have been pushing it even faster thinking I got this.
Live and learn, thenthen have mommy and daddy buy you an Evo. Spoiled *****

possibly. or you could total it in a week and have to start all over... but i dont think it could hurt in the learning process. just know, that the GSX isnt any toy either, those things are beasts in their own right.
$92 a month?
you have got to be joking. Well sir why not tell us how to ge those low rates.
Because it seems like the insurance companies are trying to hustle the crap out of young men.
I'm 19 about to be 20 in a few weeks. The most I'm going to wait is 21. If my insurance is still above $200 for an 03 Evo. I'm going to investigate, and I'm going to make them tell me what EXACTLY is causing my rates to be high.

yea a gsx or talon tsi awd they are the same thing. start off on that. i bought my talon as my second car and had that for like 3 years before i bought the evo. that car was fun but ill admit at 18 i shouldnt of bought that car cause i was too immature even now i bought the evo when i was 20 and at times i still cant control myself even goin to the tracks almost every week. i really hope you think about this decision and EVERYONEs input on here! best of luck kid
this sudden change of heart, is even more funny to me than all else before...
