When I bench tested one it was within 0.5 PSIG on the pressure side from 1 to 25 PSIG and within 1" Hg from 1 to 20. Much closer than a human can read dynamically while watching the gauge.

You can also dump the data electronically for data logging.

Make sure you have large diameter tubing between the manifold and sensor the shorter the better for response times.

good to know, I was going to get the JDM (X) map sensor but I guess I'll just stick to the boost gauge.

you got to remember its summer time now, so when it gets colder the gauge will be off. if you are doing any type of self tuning, get the jdm sensor that way you can run ecu controlled boost and be able to log it

I have the autometer boost gauge and it seems to work perfect. I really recommend it.

I'm using a Phantom series, 9 years old, 3rd car, still dead accurate.

Not tested against map sensor in Evo, but tested in my WRX usng UTEC. still stock boost in Evo, 16-17 vac. reading at idle, 19-20 psi full boost. Maybe dead accurate was an overstatement but never had a problem with it in three different cars.
