auto meter column pod

auto meter column pod

I just got my auto meter gauge pod for my steering column. Has anyone installed one of these? What difficulty am I looking at here??

you sit it on top of the column and use the double sided tape, pretty simple

ha, yea.. thas some funny s***. Nobody used the ratchet plugs? The tape hold ok?

Well..I used a heat gun and really molded mine onto the pillar. It looks like a stock piece. Once it was really soft and pliable, I drilled and used only 3 of the plugs. Hardest part is carefully routing wiring and tubing so you don't pinch any of it when you snap it back onto the pillar.

yea i agree with that. my friend was telling me about a piece that replaces the stock top column cover as opposed to straddling it.. ive never seen it myself
