Get a IX and send your stock turbo to FP and make it a FP Red and do the basic bolt ons, cams and a tune and you will be way over 400+whp!!! GL and my buddy is about to sell his 350Z and get a evo!

Beating a dead horse, but it all depends on your preference/goals. My opinion is Evo for go, 3Z for show.

hm, thats good to hear that you can do that... I probably plan to keep it in the 350whp zone for a little until i get used to the car and stuff and then ill upgrade the turbo. definitely sounds like the evo has no problem breaking into the 400+ club without much troubles.

This question is right up my alley. My brother had a 350z with the track level suspension and what not. He and I always had fun autocrossing against each other. Both cars are really great. The Evo is of course the all wheel drive beast, but it is always fun to whip around a turn with that rear wheel drive 350z. The 350z had a nice interior but the dash felt plastic for lack of a better word. It didn't feel sturdy or anything. It was also a really small cabin. The windows felt tiny and looking out behind the car was annoying because there wasn't really much to look at. All in all, go for the Evo. They are so much fun and seemed right in every aspect. I also suggest keeping it stock. It is still a killer car, and will get you from point A to B in a respectable manner no matter what.

What do you guys think about the EVO X ?? i been doing some research on those too.. Iam starting to like the look of them a lot especially with nice wheels and some coilovers, that thing looks sexy!.. I love the interior as well...

How do you guys like the new line of engines? I did some research and they seem to make awesome power for very little money!

There is an evo x near by.. 08 with 112 miles for 27K.

It really depends man if you want the last of the true Evo's with the 8/9, or a heavier, slower version that's aimed more for comfort in the X.. I wouldn't give up my 8 for ANY Evo 10.. yeah I said it, ANY Evo 10..

Put it this way.. if you want a pure, and raw car that has a legendary engine go with the 8/9..
if you want more comforts, and maybe an automatic trans. then go with the X...

That's funny... bet you Evo VI owners said the same thing when the VIIs came out.

Your statement fails. The X has more than proven to be every bit an Evo as the rest.

Yeah but the thing is with the VI and VII they both have soul. The same 4g63 power plant as it did when it was released in 1988-89 with changes along the way with technology of course. You can call me closed minded or whatever you'd like, but to me, the last true Evo was the 9. The X is just something completely different. Same thing when comparing the R34 to the R35 Skyline, the RX7 to the RX8... they lost their soul along the way..

I kinda agree with you, but not completely. The X still has crazy potential, although I admit it's not as raw as the IX and has softened up.

Thank you.. and just as you and I stated above, the IX is the rawer car, and the X isn't the same

And that's EXACTLY what happened from the VI to VII, yet the VII, VIII, and IX are just as much Evos. You REALLY think the VII/VIII/IX are as raw as the VI? LMAO

The engine? Who gives a **** about the engine? The car still PERFORMS, and the engine has more than proven itself so far.

Any driver will tell you the X's rape where it counts... on the track.

Then tell me why with every video that I've seen were a 8 or 9 goes up against the X in any form of racing.. The 8 or 9 comes out on top?
