My blow off valve recently started acting up...it's a boost xs BOV...and it sounds like a screaming tea pot...any ideas...makes me think i have a leak somewhere or the blow off valve needs to be replaced...i dont loose any performance when driving...the sound just gets really irritating.

 

If its whistling I am guessing the blow off valve is leaking

 

buy a stock 9 dv

That bov sucks more then a stripper in Vegas. Buy a Forge or Stock Evo 9

How old is the BOV? Might need to replace the spring. I say just get a new/better one.

if u want sound just keep stock bov just block off the intake whole and there u go loud *** bov sounds like aftermarket one!!,,
