Hard to chose from both cars, the EVO interior is way better then any STI
I love both cars and wish I could get an evo too

my. Cousin sold his 05 sti with 70k miles never had a problem
he got a 04 evo 8 with 40k miles and have had more prblems with the evo then he had with the sti.

I still want a evo and think nothing beat the sti sound. Werd

Did he buy the STI new or with 40k miles on it? Personally I'd never buy a used sports car. My Evo had 150 miles on it 'new'. I have no doubt that the salesmen at the dealership beat the **** out of it for those miles. That's life but I sure wouldn't want one with 40k miles of that.

BTW... did he say how many miles were on it? I missed that...

No he did not buy the sti new. When he bought the sti it had 20k miles bone stock. Then ofcourse he mod the car to stage 2 tune, got tired off the sti and got the evo
the evo was almost stock only a intake,
since the car is pretty much stock he thought that would be a nice car,

But again you can buy a brand new car and have prblems with it

Might not be necessary to go farther than that living in Cali but I find that odd. You could cover 500+ miles in just a day. One day for a car that you will own for years and probably spend 100's of hours working on is chump change.

I sold my sti, and I have a evo 9 now. I liked my STI a lot, but I wanted something faster. If your looking to mod, evos are definitely the way to go.

Can you talk to her for me?

Lol

Actually, she would probably be the one driving with me to pick up the car and to drive our civic back (I'm not trading it in...). I don't think she wants to spend a day on the road...
