Only funny story I had with my evo was one time when I was crusin around and had my window cracked a little there were these 2 hot girls next to me all smiling and waving so I went to put my window all the way down to talk to them.... Yeahhh I ended up hitting the rear window switch putting the rear window down and then fumbled with the switches for a few seconds and almost went off the road cause I was looking at the switches to get the window down. OOPS! LOL

 

lol funny stories. as for me i was getting together with some friends at a parking lot there were going to be people form around town showing off there cars so i pull in to the lot and im the only evo out there i have to rep evos right so i give it a little rev and i park next to my buddy well i forget to pull the e-break up and the car starts rolling back as i step out i almost ate it! my buddy starts to laugh uncontrollably and i turn red as hell in front of everybody.

 

I learnt to drive a manual in my Evo 6.5.

I stalled it numerous times in the most awkward places.

Though all good now

 

forgetting to close the gas cap then trying to roll through the car wash...

I was at a car meet with some friends and i was backing into a parking spot next to my buddy's rx8, a group of people in front of me watching me start commenting " ohh no" and i nearly side swipe my friends car. I just told them i was trying to box him in leaving him no room to open the door since he did that to me earlier. They believed me. Evo steering diameter is very unforgiving!

 

LOL!!! OH my gawd!!!! Popped the hood, clicked ondome light, then trunk, THEN the gas cap!?!?! LOOL!!! HAHA!!! Oh my gawd............it's all good mang, no worries! We're ALL new at once right!?! [:
NO one is perfect. Haha.

Stalled car twice on the same hill on S. 277th between Auburn Way and 167 while driving from Auburn Mitsubishi with the car brand new in heavy late afternoon rush hour traffic...

I have you BEAT! Melted the harness on my AEM wideband ugeo while racing a SRT-4 (somehow it was under the dumptube of my wastegate)

 

I did the gas cap pull mistake myself lol,trunk opens instead ehhh I also hit alarm button thinking i hit the turbo timer and opened door and alarm starts going off,of course people staring lol.

evo 8 mr was first manual. couldn't even get it out of the dealer lot in reverse. made it through the toll booths in nyc, but in my hometown, managed to stall it a few times on the main road, backing up traffic :P

one lady jeered at me and told me to "Just park it there". i still remember her face.

now we do winter rallies in upstate NY. guess we all gotta start somewhere
