Most Embarrassing Moments in the Evo
I have one, and I don't even have an Evo yet...
Test drive. It had been 2 years since I traded in my manual RSX S for my auto Miata. I know how to drive a stick, but 'cmon, after 2 years, you get a little rusty. Then, add in the fact that the Evo's clutch release is so much higher and longer compared to the RSX...
I didn't stall, but I did end up revving it up to 4,000rpms while still trying to release the clutch and then looking at the sales person all funny like "This typically doesn't happen..."

Two for me:
Scenario 1: It's dark out, and my friend Shawn and I are getting into my Evo to drive to the store. I am 6'3+ in height so I opened the drivers side door, park my @$$ in the seat first, then bang my head on the frame of the car. Crap that hurt...
Scenario 2: I drove my friend Shawns Evo 9 MR to a local Subway to pickup some subs (same shawn as from scenario 1) I pull into the spot, get the food, come out, then the Doh! moment happened..I wasn't sure how to put the 6 speed into reverse. I sat there for about 5 minutes trying to figure it out, only putting it in 5th Lol! I had to call him and ask him how *embarassed* Oh well, you live and you learn.
