whats really needed for 450hp?
I'm on the stock injectors right now. Yea I hate back tracking things once I have it tuned just to retune it again later with the rest of the parts on. I should just save the money and do it right the 1st time
EXACTLY NOW YOUR GETTING IT. do this one time unless you have 250-350 to keep throwing at a tuner. im doing this one time putting it all together and get chris to do his best tune ever and leave it alone
Easy! Get a Magnus v5 and throw that on with the Black. The magnus will net you great power on pump. It will allow you to run a lot more timing and your car won't be near as knock happy. We have a bunch on "normal" modded FP Reds at 450 here in the NW. I think the Black will get you were you want!
Pump setup:
1) Magnus v5 w/ ETS Short Route UICP
2) I would go 1200cc injectors so you have room to grow.
3) Milspec 65mm TB - We have 700hp cars on stock tb and doesn't seem to be limiting hp!
4) Port Exhaust Manifold
5) "BLACK"
6) External dump 02
7) Full 3in Exhaust
8) ETS 3.8 Garrett FMIC FTMFW
9) FP 18psi wastegate
10) A good EBC so you can hold 30psi to redline (on the black I don't think you will have a problem holding 29-30psi to redline)
11) Get a nice big 4in intake with foam filter, unless you drive in a dirty place
12) Get a 50mm BOV so that you don't leak. There are tons of BOVs that leak. The Tial and TurboSmart Raceport are both great BOVs.
You should be able to run 30psi no problem and should break 450 on pump. Remember on pump it's all about air flow because unlike meth/E85/Q you just can't turn the boost up to make power. You need to make the most power on the lowest boost since your limited!
Good luck on your build

That's a good set of mods you have.

best pics I can get with a cell phone. I wanted to wait regardless for all the parts, but I heard that I could make the power I am looking for without them, so I figured do it and once the engine gets built then add the rest of those parts.
also trying to finish the gsx up at the same time isnt helping me. I am trying to do both, but I need to do one at a time.

needs a new driveshaft, and complete bushing install with tuning

Thanks Mike. I have a guy from WV coming your way at the end of this week or next week. I did a build list for his X and half the parts are yours.

His goal is mid 500 on stock bottom end so I told him you would hook him up with a ETS Twin Scroll HTA3582 1.06 A/R
That will give him some room to move up once he builds his motor too.

Can we get a nice big closeup of the Turbine Housing? A top view would be awesome. Just like the one you have just BIGGER! Sorry for posting 3 things in a row. I got ahead of myself!
