How-To Request

Just a thought since the ECU reflash is likely to be a very popular upgrade. Could someone please do a write up on how to get to the ECU and swap it out with a reflashed ECU? I'm willing to bet it's pretty easy and if no one feels like it I'll go ahead and work on one this weekend.

pull out your glove box, undo the 3 10mm bolts holding the case in place and it drops right out. Unplug the ECU wiring, and you are done!

I figured it was as easy as that, it's just been too cold around here to get anything done with the car for a while. Thanks for the input.

I was playing with my glove box the other day while my girl was driving my car. (I hate to drive since I got in a wreck a few weeks ago)

how exactly does it come out? maybe because we where in motion or something... but I couldn't get it to just pop off like everythign else on the car seems to.

Yes I would like to know also. I've taken the left catch out but the right one is permanent. Any trick to get this out? Afraid I'll break something...

also disconnect the battery, unless you like taking chances with your ecu

it can get fried when the battery is hooked up
