how to launch evo

this is how i laanch my evo. slip the clutch between 5-5500. is that the correct way to launch an evo?

you don't want to slip it...

you wanna act like you just stepped on a nail and quickly pull your foot from it... not just a straight dump, but a quick release...

slipping the stock clutch at 5500 rpms is not good for it...

That's cuz you gotta be pulsing the rpms before you launch it.

Pulse it at 5000-5500, then on the last pulse, nail the gas and drop the clutch. You can't just hold the gas before you launch cuz you wont have any boost.
