Is it worth spending the extra money in getting a Buddy Club SECU Turbo Timer( it seems to be the most expensive Turbo Timer)Because of the security features?
Do any other turbo timers come with this feature? Or is it even necessary to have a Turbo Timer with Security features?

not all tt come with secu feature.

if security is what you are worried about, just get an alarm that has a "turbo timer". Almost all the new Vipers, Compstars, Cliffords etc. have it. A bit more expensive but definitely better than the buddy club "security".

i have the greddy as well. for 90 bucks well worth it. like the above poster said, just get the harness and install is a breeze. not sure about the security features, but i would say just get a real alarm if your that concerned.

ive had my greddy TT for almost 2 years and still works great. just be careful about the "auto" setting where it adds mins depending on driving. after driving easy you could end up having your car idle for 10 mins (totally unnecessary). i usually go for 1:30 unless im driving hard or stop and go for a long time. gl with your decision!

Thanks for all the input.
I will probably get a Turbo Timer and a separate alarm.

^ that's a good price

I have the hks type 1. I like it for all of the other stuff it outputs (speed, rpm, stop watch, batt voltage, etc)

if you just need something to count down, then any one out there will do.
