New guy looking to buy evo

Like title says im looking to get into an evo and out of my honda. I currently drive a built b16 civic si. Makes 402whp on 22psi but only 287tq. I know a bit about evo's because a friend of mine just purchased an 05 evo 8. Any info you guys can provide would be appreciated.

This is kind of a general post- but all i can say is you would dominate way harder in a 400hp evo and it would have around 350f/lbs torque so you would be outdoing that civic

I never got a chance to read that because the thread was deleted. Im sure it was because all the questions I asked have already been answered.

Your thread wasn't deleted. It was moved to the Newbie forum.

If I were you, I'd start reading the sticky threads on this board and on Evo General. Then move on to the engine/suspension forums and read the stickies there. Once you find something of interest, run a quick search on the subject for more info.

As you read the threads, keep one thing in mind. We're not all blessed with the same information, life experiences, and dare I say intelligence. When you see something compelling, read the individual's other threads and gauge his personal basis for the comment. Then, come back and ask specific questions. I'll lend a hand if I can.

I took my si to the track friday night and got an 11.87 on radials. That evo is expensive. I wouldn't buy that. I live in cincinnati and evo are much cheaper around here.
