Exedy Stage 1 clutch for evo 9

Just received my Exedy stage one clutch for my Evo 9 but on the box it says Evo 7/8.. the part number is 05803. Did I get the wrong clutch or does the evo 8/9 share the same Exedy clutch?

How is this clutch does is it good for everyday driving?

Sorry for never replying but the clutch acts just like the stock clutch. Eventually the extra pedal pressure will feel like the stock pressure after driving it for a while. It's a good alternative for replacing the stock clutch. Still going strong after 30k miles.
