New member searched for sti and bought an evo mr....
So I attached a few photos of my car and I am hoping it worked. The photo of my car at the gas station is somewhere in central California on the way back home from buying the car. We experienced sunshine, rain storms and everything else on the drive there and back. I have never seen so many variations in the weather in such a short period of time.I took a chance and drove up north 315 miles to see the car and am I glad I did. The other two pics are self explanitory.

The only thing I wish the Evo had that the STi has is cruise control. I think the Evo is better otherwise!
Yours looks great! I used to have a 9 MR that was the same color scheme as yours. Now I have a Grey 8 MR.

Welcome to the board and congrats. I've only been a member for a short time but so far everyone seems to be pretty chill.
Seems like it's fairly common for one to switch to an Evo from a S2K (I did as well) although IMO, there is something about the S2K that makes it more fun to drive.

I absolutely agree with you that no other car has the feel of a S2K. It truly is like being in a go cart. In my case we are expecting our first child and I needed to move up to a 4-door or I don't think I would have sold my S2k. I must say though the power of the Evo is addictive and is the one thing the S2k lacked.
