I wanted the MR because I liked the idea of the 6-speed tranny and liked the subtle differences in the wheels, interior trim & aero pieces. I figured it was the top of the line and more sought after model from what I understood and was most similar to the STI.

Yes it has the factory shocks..What is so special about the shocks if you don't mind me asking?

 

that means it is a "stock" never abused MR. more value in the used car market.

Congrats on your find. I considered 06-07 STIs as well when I was looking for a "second" car, but I just kept coming back to the Evo.

Keep it nice and stock and it will hold its value.

 

Nice I just hope that doesnt happen to me when I go to buy an evo... Most likely it wont I rode in the evo and it was really nice.

congrats man, I too have an mr and love it. people may say the mr cant handle high torque etc, but you can swap if you feel the need to when u are power hungry but i didnt. THe sti transmission drives funny to me, but has a nice gauge, thats about it for me. I just didnt have the same good feeling as the evo. congrats again!
