no it does not to my knowledge however you can have a tuner set you up with a 2 step launch.

The car has factory 2-step...... set at 5k. tap the gas once, make sure the clutch is ALL the way to the floor, hit the gas 100% and it will bounce at 5k, building like 9.5 pounds on a stock ix.
IF you want anti-lag(a better launch control IMO) you need a reflash.

03-04's didn't have this. 05-06's do. you need to flash the car to get a 2 step.

Urrrggghhh

All it is, is a stationary rev limit. Every USDM EVO 03-06 has that map however the 03 and 04 had it set to a higher rpm value then the regular rev limit therefor rendering it useless.

You just need to input the rpm value you desire into this map and flash it back into the car.

No special tuning or magic required I promise

Launch Control, as in ABS kicking in to prevent tire spin? Like a corvette? Evos do not have that feature, light all four of them up!!.

Launch control on the Evo is a Rev limiter that kicks in when your in 1st gear have the clutch in and the gas all the way down.

It's not the same as what your talking about on the vette.

^this. in ecu flash you will have to enter the correct hex value for the rpm you want(you can do this in windows calculator lol)...so 5500rpm would be 157C. I believe ecu flash requires you to put a value in front of that such as an 0x so (0x157C)

LOL, thanks, I'm aware of the two-step rev limiter, as I have had mine set and used it many times. But, I do not condsider this any form of launch "control". The OP hadn't responded since the original post, and the two-step had been covered in previous posts, so I was anticipating that he might have been referring to ABS assisted "launch control"

You dont consider the method in which Evos are launched as launch control? Alright then.

LC in term of building boost to get the better start out of the hole - yes, launch control in the term of the factory preset to limit RPMs without boost to avoid breaking drivetrain stuff - no.
