Does a 03 Evo have launch control?
I've heard its not good for the turbo if you hold it for too long, But I have never seen anyone have a problem occur because of anti-lag...Im also new to this forum, So forgive me if I've missed a few epic anti-lag fail threads. lol
Websters is weak but wikipedia is not...and considering the how it work definition seems to fit fairly well with what the Evo does I'm pretty sure your arguing my point for me.
The rev limiter is used to control the launch of the Evo, anyone that's taken it to the strip knows this. It may not be launch control in the tradition sense but it is still launch control non the less by the very definition of the word.

Well, why don't you produce one shred of evidence that states Evo8s have "Launch Control" and I will surely and quickly admit that I'm wrong. Taking two different words from Webster's and trying to make them fit your argument is, well it's just weak and embarrasing...

I don't know how long a turbo will hold up but shooting flames thru the turbo and raising EGT are gonna take its toll on the turbo.
