i love what your doing man espically doing all the work yourself like the brakes. They looked top notch very nicely done...ive learned SO many things owing this car the past year. I have a IV right now and i love it. My first Evo, former DSM owner but i moved out to Okinawa as i joined the USAF. So i got a chance to drive a true JDM Evo...good luck with the build man im really looking foward to following your build...heres a few pics of my car for some more inspiration

Nice! Gotta love those JDM Evo's! The world would've been a better place if we'd gotten older Evo's stateside. I like the white RPF1's too. Might have to powdercoat mine that color down the road. Is it an RS or a GSR? BIG update to come Saturday evening or maybe Sunday depending on how bad traffic is. Driving a few hours down south to get a bunch of stuff. Oh yeah, I totally need a set of those Ralliart mudflaps LOL.

 

nice man well ill be looking forward to the updates man. yeah my wheels were just repainted not powder coated (long story). the mud flaps FTW haha i love how good they look on mine it was one of my best $85 investments....keep use updated man idk if you want to try to get the Stock evo IV Momo steering wheel but i have one laying around with all the parts its in OK shape but im sure the leather could be redone idk just a thought if you want it cheap let me know i can send it out to you..can PM you some pics if you want..Ohh yeah my IV is a 1996 GSR

 

Cool so you have AYC then. I'm debating on whether or not I want to get the AYC stuff or just hunt down an RS rear diff. We'll see.

@SyZyGy1394: I've seen a few Evo's around. There is a Tarmac Black one with no wing I see around, don't remember if it's an 8 or 9 though.

@Roberti22: Yeah, give me an idea of what you'd want for it. I dunno though, I was thinking about getting an OMP wheel, but I wouldn't mind an oem wheel I guess. Is it the one with the airbag or without?

 

You ever go out to ricewood?....I mean greenwood on the weekends?

 

No kidding lol. Yeah, I stop in at TRU every once in awhile; but usually just to order parts. Ever hang out at ORP on Tuesday's for the street legals?

 

I have yet to go there for that. I've been to ORP once before, and that was winged warrior. I'm not that big into drag racing.
