Weird noise... Please help

My Evo VIII makes this weird noise at or around 2k rpm. It's kind of a squeaking/ whining noise. It started out doing it in first gear only or at least that I noticed, but it has gotten worse and now does it in every gear. Clutch is still strong and doesn't slip. Maybe a throwout bearing?.. Anyone had or heard of this problem before? Or any ideas of what it could be? Please help. Thanks

Noise is just before it engages, can keep it continually going if kept around 2k. When the clutch is fully engaged it doesn't make any noise.

Yeah, that's the best answer I can come up with too. But I had it at the dealer and they didn't think so. Saying it was the clutch, but it's still strong. Think they just didn't want to cover it cause the car is still under warranty.
