lol, my expectations were so much lower at that age. i was obsessing over the integra gsr and didn't get one until i was 22 . but it was totally awesome when i did . i couldn't even fathom owning a car like an evo at 16, or 18, or even 22!!

Also, I wouldn't put down 19k on the car, put down a smaller amount. And save that cash and use it as a buffer in case something might go wrong. I'm not some millionaire or anything but I am in the military so the pay is not great but I save my money, plus photography on the side, I am able to do what I want and keep a buffer in my bank in case anything should go wrong, or I want something new. Basically what I'm saying is, don't put "all" your money into it, keep some off to the side.

Coming from someone who just finished paying off his dream car I can tell you its not a good idea. Especially with an evo because you WILL have some sort of problems with the car even if you take care of it as meticulously as I do. At your age you think you know it all when it comes to the money subject but you will learn soon that you don't. I am not being negative I am just trying to help you out. Good luck with whatever you get.

Yea, about 450 to 500 TQ is basically the magic number. I never said the $B was perfect, and I never said it is a bullet proof motor, but you have to admit that being able to with hold damn near double the stock WTQ output is an impressive feat, and the gains people are seeing with minimal upgrades and a tune are amazing. Like I said before, the 4G had it's time to shine, and it's time for the 4B to show what it's got...

Insurance in Virginia is pretty inexpensive compared to most of the country though.
You sir are correct. Miami is ridiculous compared to other places when it comes to insurance. All these darn uninsured drivers.

^ I'm thinking the same thing. It's a given that on the forums, when you put what you "drive" it means what you drive primarily and/or own. Otherwise, I'd have several Benzes if I wanted to throw in my family's cars, and a lot of other people would too.

Your're right, I rarely watch TV! I just hate insecure braggarts. The saying is "People with money, don't talk about money" anyway.
