can't believe mitsu didn't give us an alarm, that's the standard of car this level. They don't expect people will break into evo?

if we don't have an alarm how do we program a new key, because to program a new key you'd need to see the alarm indicator light to see which mode the car is in.

None of the evos have factory alarm. When you press the lock button, the horn honks to tell you that it's locked. If the car gets broken into, the horn won't honk. Evos just comes with keyless entry. Need to buy an alarm.

All you need is two working keys, and follow the instructions in the service manual. Very easy, I've done it before.

No, not even the X has factory alarm. It's not even an option when you purchase the vehicle from the dealer. It was never an option on evos, I even asked the salesman back in 03.
