driveline fluid confusion...

i just picked up my first evo (06 GSR SE) today and couldnt be more excited. current driveline fluid has 25k miles on it, so i would like to change it to start fresh on my maintenance records.

the previous owner was kind enough to include some amsoil fluids, specifically 3 quarts of 75w90 GL-4 gear lube and and 75w90 severe gear which is GL-5.

now, i believe that the gear lube (gl4) would be for transmission and the severe gear for the rear diff, but i may be wrong. i checked amsoils site and they dont list a recommendation for the rear diff...

the other question is i could have sworn i read that you should NEVER run anything but diaqueen in one of the components, but i cant for the life of me remember which component, or where i read it/find it again.

any help would be extremely appreciated!

the MTG GL4 will go in the tranny, the SVG severe gear will go into the rear diff or transfer case.
