Hey guys, I have a question that maybe you can help me out with. There is a red 8 MR for sale down in NC (link below). The car has rally lights drilled through a bit of the bumper and canards (which I would absolutely take off) along with silver and black recaros instead of the standard blue and black.

I asked the dealer about it and he says that it is a replica of a special edition Evo 8 sold in Japan that came with the seats and rally lights. I also tried Googling for information but I cant find anything. Anyone here able to confirm or deny his story? Thanks in advance!

He is a salesman he will tell you ANYTHING to get you to buy the car!!! It was just horribly modded lol!

 

Red 8 MR's are rare..NICE. But as far as those excuses, its just modifications. He put the lights on, he put the canards on, painted the seats grey with fabric paint. Supposed to be a JDM model, but no jdm rear end :[

 

Any of you guys ever seen those seats before?

The only speacial editions evos that I know about are the TME evo 6's and the Jackie Chan editon 8/9 and that it.

But it looks pretty damn good to me. Clean, and I dig the seats.

I would get it you can always de-rice it! I would take off those lights and canards! It is lowered and it looks like it was well maintained. I would jump on it.....

the lights and canards look horrible, but the rest of the car is pretty clean.
