e85
I like to use these

But if you don't have the room to store 30 to 40 thousand of them then this might not be such a good idea for you.
*EDIT* Oh yeah if you are able to go this route, don't forget to get lots of those little rubber stoppers for the tops

E85 does not store well. The Corn Fuel attractes moisture. I was going to store a month supply at a time since I am in the same boat as you. I had all 3 of the major distributors of Fuels in my area all say do not do it. By the end of the month the fuel would be contaminated. I was told though, week by week should be no problem.
Its up to you, but I wouldn't store it. Most tuners do pretty hard core tunes on E85 to extract as much power as possible. If for some chance you did get some contamination, by the time you knew, the damage is already done.
Is why I stick with 91 **** gas and only 315whp (mustang dyno). Yeah, 400 on E85 would be better, but the risk vs reward at the cost of my engine just isn't worth it.

Would the type of container play a role in that moisture attraction Jeff? I am currently storing 30 gallons at a time with these 5 gallon drums:

Just curious as to whether these particular drums might be ok to hold fuel for 3-4 weeks.

its really a matter of playing it safe. The Manager there knows I am very picky with my car. The problem is that the tuners run pretty crazy maps on E85 and if you got some contamination in the fuel and your running the car, it could be knocking and you would not even know it.
If you have your tuner do a conservitive tune, then maybe you will be ok. But then, it kinda ruins the whole idea. So, my guess would be, Aggressive E85 Map (whcih most tuners do) = weekly E85 trips. Conservitive E85 tune = Monthly E85 runs IMO.
If I only can get WMI perfected on my car, it really would be the best thing for us that are not close to the Corn Stations. I made 385whp on the mustang dyno on 50/50 conservitive tune on WMI. I pulled the kit though due to reliability issues with the kit. Maybe if I get a good Aquamist Kit like a HFS-3 or HFS-5/6 with a Temphra mod?? anyway that is a whole other topic

Bottom line, like I said, the Monthly Fuel runs is a risk. If you are willing to risk your motor for the added power then do it. If not, then dont. I may be exagerating a bit, but to me, my broke *** can't afford to make that mistake, not even once. Thats just me. I always side on the side of caution.
