so i turned down the boost a little bit and it stop doing the back firing, but now i have another problem, the car lost a decent amount of power throughout the whole rpm range, so i turned the boost controller back to where it was and no matter how much i turn it, it wont go back to 25 psi where i was at. im currently stuck at 19 psi right now. i brought it down a little bit and it was at 19 when i brought it down, so i figured ill bring it back up a little bit to get the power back and nope it wont go past 19.

Hmm not sure why you cant get the boost to go back up by adjusting the mbc, possibly the mbc is damaged some how?

whats going on

driving the evo today back from mountain creek, well before the drive i lowered the boost to about 19 psi from 26 psi anyways i was driving there and basically noticed the huge loss in power car was hesitating throughout the whole rpm range i guess due to not as much boost well i warmed up the car before we left thge mountain for the day and i decided to raise the boost a little bit well i turned the knob and got in the car and started driving did a second gear pull and hit 19 psi as i was at before... i pulled over turned the boost up a little more and same thing 19 psi... anyone know why?
